The Wind Does Not Break a Tree That Bends

May 6, 2010

This week, I have the extraordinary Doreen Agostino guest blogging on the WorldChangingBusiness blog…

Meet Doreen…

Message From Doreen:

The influence on Earth, Sun and Us, during this natural Shift of the Ages, reminds me of an African proverb, ‘The Wind Does Not Break a Tree That Bends’.

Leading edge physics reveal that Infinite Light best described spiritually, as Unconditional Love and scientifically, as Fundamental Electromagnetic Quantum Energy, responds to every human Belief Emotion Action Thought. The more people tune in to a certain BEAT or channel on Tell-A-Vision Earth, the higher the volume and quicker the outcome.

As nature influences commUNITY through extreme weather, and the economy, environment and other conditions shift globally, are you willing to put your BEAT on pause long enough to explore what leading edge scientists, physicists, indigenous knowledge, world changing EVOLutionaries and deep spiritual truth reveal, about this rare comic wave of opportUNITY we are all riding now?

LOVE spelled backwards in EVOLution is a cosmic clue. This natural Shift of the Ages invites humanity to choose now, a new Era of Heart channel on Tell-A-Vision Earth. For more InFormation and ongoing UNIversal Events please visit http://freetobewealthy.net

Joseph Giove, Founder and Executive Director of Common Passion and a growing field of global collaborators are leading ‘The Conscious Convergence … A Wave of UNITY’ on July 17, 18, 2010.  This is a CALL TO ACTION for UNITY consciousness to be expressed throughout the world and is a deliberate, collective intention and action by everyONE who chooses to participate. Natural and Rare Now EVOLution

May 4, 2010

This week, I have the extraordinary Doreen Agostino guest blogging on the WorldChangingBusiness blog…

Meet Doreen…

Message From Doreen:

Leading edge physics, science, indigenous knowledge and deep spiritual truth, reveal that several grand cycles of time end Dec. 21, 2012 and a New World Age begins. Since the nonmaterial realm of Infinite Light, best described spiritually as Unconditional Love and scientifically as Fundamental Electromagnetic Quantum Energy, responds to every Belief Emotion Action Thought, no one knows precisely when or how this natural Shift will occur.

As a veil of forgotten truth thins during this Shift of the Ages, everyONE is invited to awaken BodyMindSoul now to the brilliant ‘Spark Of Unconditional Love’ you naturally are, as a caterpillar awakens beyond a chrysalis into a higher form of being.

As this rare cosmic wave of opportUNITY advances, time compresses into only now, which means what everyONE thinks about, talks about, writes about and feels about, comes about faster like a boomerang. The more we align BodyMindSoul within and everyONE, the more Infinite Light flows into our world, the only authentic power to influence the quality and duration of our journey into the Heart of a New World Age.

7 Day Journey with Coco Fossland

May 3, 2010

This week, I have the extraordinary Doreen Agostino guest blogging on the WorldChangingBusiness blog…

Meet Doreen…

Message From Doreen:

Early 2009, I was InCouraged to blend decades of research, study, modern physics, deep spiritual truth, inner net exploration and experience, with the outer world of business. When Coco Fossland appeared on my radar screen, intuitively I knew that working with Coco was my next step, so I joined Coco’s WorldChangingWealth program.

Coco’s authenticity, marketing skills and ability to mentor clients from the inside out, is unparalleled. With the support of Coco and our team, I strayed beyond my comfort zone to organize and host a 6 week Tele-$ummit with 2 WCW team members. Together with 9 other world changing EVOLutionaries, we gently and lovingly planted seeds of new awareness, for listeners to ‘Turn Hard Times into the Best of Times’.

Embracing fear, nurturing my BodyMindSoul, leveraging Coco’s Insight and marketing brilliance, influenced resources showing up easily. June 2009 a dream came true, when I was invited to host an Internet radio show on VoiceAmerica 7th Wave Network, a Visionary Transformational channel. August 19.09, Coco Fossland was my first guest on Align Shine Prosper, which expanded to include leading edge physicists, scientists, doctors and world changing EVOLutionaries, sharing the closest approximation of truth to smooth transition as we pass through this natural Shift of the Ages.

Feb 2010, I published my first mini book entitled, ‘So You Think You’re Awake?’ to spark higher awareness for individuals ready to awaken, beyond illusions and the dream about what we are not, as we journey into the Heart of a New World Age. Thank you Coco and WCW team!

More About Doreen

In the mid eighties, Doreen Agostino’s quest for authentic truth opened doors to leading edge physics, science, deep spiritual truth and radical new perceptions of materialism – the world of physical form. HeartMind wide open, Doreen trail blazed unchartered territory – the nonmaterial realm of Infinite Light, best described as Fundamental Electromagnetic Quantum Energy scientifically and Unconditional Love spiritually. Sages and leading edge physicists now agree, that Infinite Light, is all there is. Underlying all reality there is no form, only possibilities.

In 2007, instead of prescribed radiation and chemotherapy, Doreen aligned BodyMindSoul to success-fully restore her biology from cancer.

Decades of asking, ‘Whose truth is this anyway’ and this natural Shift of the Ages, sparked Doreen to write a book beyond her conditioned mind entitled So You Think You’re Awake?, Liberate Yourself From Anything Outside This Moment Revealed. In her mini book, Doreen blends modern physics, science, ageless wisdom and personal experience into 32 easy to read pages, for busy people to journey into higher awareness and victoriously influence a New World Age. Certified in 2nd Degree Reiki, Holodynamics, Silva Method Grad, author, mentor and international Internet radio host, Doreen InCourages individuals to align with Heart centered Inner Truth and awaken one BodyMindSoul within and everyONE, to joy-fully and victoriously EVOLve a new Era of Heart. The Quest for An Authentic Life

February 22, 2010

I am writing this morning after a powerful weekend up at the lake with my family. Frank and I are in deep discussions about how we want to live our lives.  We’ve been blessed with incredible abundance, in so many ways.  Our cup runneth over.  Our love, support, and abundance gives us, and specifically me, more choices that I ever thought possible. Choices on how I want to spend my days… live out my passions… and contribute to the world…

And while it all seems like happy, dreamy conversations, what I’m learning (or re-learning, rather) is that the power of choice is complex.

  • When we stand in a space of believing we have no choice, we make the simple, uncomplicated choice to keep doing things the same old way.  Life is simple.  We minimize our risk, uncertainty, and potential for failure.
  • When we stand instead, in the space of seeing our choices, realizing that we can be/do/have whatever we desire — we must be willing to change to meet those choices.

And that is complex.  Often challenging. Sometimes met with adversity (both from within ourselves, as well as from the outer world).

Just this morning I was pondering both the challenge and the reward of living an authentic life, when I received a message from a friend and client, Renae Lauterbach.  Renae entered a contest on a blog and was asking her friends to read her entry, and if we liked it, to make a commend on the blog — thereby putting in our support for her to win the contest.  I read her entry and it spoke directly to this question of living authentically.  It inspired me, and I thought it might inspire you too.  Here’s here beautiful entry…

http://sandygrason.typepad.com/magnificentmoment/2010/02/renae.html

If you like her blog, be sure to leave a quick comment. She’s hoping to win a spot in Sandy Grason’s Fabulous Formula 2.0 Workshop.

ALSO!  Another synchronous event is happening today…  My friend Michael Bungay Stanier is launching his fun and provocative book, DO MORE GREAT WORK.

(If you pick it up today, you’ll also get his wonderful eBook “Be Courageous,” which regularly sells for $25, for F*R*E*E.)

In short, Michael’s message is to “Stop the busy work.  And start the work that matters.” (Wow, can I so relate.)  This is a fun, inspiring read with lots of fun exercises you can do to better know, value, and leverage your greatest asset – YOU!

To me, this book is about Living Authentically, though he doesn’t specifically call it that.  He calls it living a life of “GREAT WORK.”

Here’s how Michael defines Great Work…

“Great Work is what we all want more of.

This is the work that is meaningful to you, that has an impact and makes a difference.

It inspires, stretches, and provides.

Great Work is the work that matters.”

He goes on to describe “Great Work” as the “source of both deep comfort and engagement — often you feel as if you’re in the ‘flow zone,’ where time stands still and you’re working at your best, effortlessly.”

When I think of Renae in her blog, I see that when she describes her desire to live as a “GREAT ARTIST,” I feel in my heart that she is doing her “Great Work,” as described by Michael.

Michael also says, and Renae’s blog illustrates it as well, that “Great Work is also a place of uncertainty and discomfort.”  He explains that…

“The discomfort arises because the work is often new and challenging,

and so there’s an element of risk and possible failure.

Because this is work that matters, work that you care about,

you don’t want to fail.

But because it’s new and challenging,

there’s a chance that it might.”

Oh how that message is hitting home for me right now! Right now my husband and I are considering in investing (potentially a LOT of money) in an opportunity that is totally inspiring to me, but is right now, bringing up all my *STUFF* around failure….

ANYWAY… I wanted to connect you with these two inspiring resources to perhaps get you thinking more about living a Life of Authenticity

#1 – Renae’s blog entry (go ahead… give her a comment, so that she can win the contest 🙂

#2 – Michael Stanier’s book, “DO GREAT WORK” (if you buy today, you will also receive for F*R*E*E his wonderful eBook, “Be Courageous,” which normally sells for $25)

Love and light to you… xoxo, Coco

The Results Of My Passion Test

February 18, 2010

I have been filling myself up lately with all kinds of support and inspiration from people I love….

It’s actually quite unusual for me to be enrolled in so many programs. I am very selective and sparing about what I commit to, but these all have felt fun, light, and deeply transformational to me in a myriad of ways.

My session yesterday with Dan Hanneman was  wonderful! I  wanted to share with you the results of my Passion Test! 🙂

The Passion Test, is a wonderful book by Janet and Chris Atwood. It’s a quick, fun read, if you haven’t read it.  In a couple of hours, you too can complete the Passion Test.  The book provides yet another way to study and integrate the power of manifestation into your bones.

It prescribes a wonderfully simple manifestation method where you…

  • First, set your INTENTION, and through the process of taking the Passion Test, discover the 5 things you most desire
  • Second, activate your ATTENTION on those specific desires in a focused, meaningful way, which naturally starts to bring your desires into your experience (often through small ways initially)
  • Third, move towards NO TENSION where you let go of the ongoing question of “how” and practice the art of staying open to what appears each moment

Dan led me through the first step of setting my top 5 intentions, or passions. He walked me through a beautiful process where I first, before our call together, created a long list of all the things I love.  He asked me to complete this sentence…

“When my life is ideal, I am…____________”

My list grew quickly to over 20 items.  And then, using a very specific, and surprising, process described in the book, I set out to identify my top passions.  Out of the 20+ items, I boiled my list down to seven key passions.

I dutifully sent my list of seven off to Dan in preparation for our call together.  On our  call yesterday, Dan walked me through a deep process of inquiry to help bring to surface which of these top 7, were my top 5, and in what specific order of priority.  He also helped me to simplify each passion into 3-6 words or less.

Here are the results of my Passion Test…

  1. Being in a loving marriage
  2. Plenty of time to myself
  3. Wealth for me and my family
  4. Opportunities for thousands to self-generate prosperity
  5. Joy of building successful business(es)
  6. Globally respected network of business leaders

I must say, I didn’t expect my passions to come out quite the way they did. I didn’t expect my need for time to myself to come so close to the top of my list! Wow, was that surprising!  I also was fascinated seeing how my top passions were really less about the larger world, and more about my intimate, personal world.  (WorldChanging for me seems to have less than I thought about the larger world.) I was surprised to see how much I truly want for me and for myself — wealth, success, time.  And that my desire to give to the larger world is truly there, but it comes a clear second to meeting my own needs.

I had the hardest time deciding between #4 and #5.  I’ve listed them in the order they came out yesterday with Dan, with my passion for creating opportunities for thousand coming before my passion for a building successful business(es).  Though today, to be totally honest, I feel a much greater passion for my own success, rather than the success of others.

Whoooooooooa… the truth is sometimes selfish.

But all this inquiry is incredibly valuable to me. And Dan was masterful in helping me identify the real truth.  This is helping me see exactly what I need in order to have ALL my passions manifest.

Here’s what I am learning…

  • When I prioritize my behaviors and attentions in a way that is out of alignment with the priority of passions, resistance and TENSION arise. (Fascinating!)
  • And when my behaviors and attentions are aligned with the priority of my passions, there is NO TENSION at all. I have what I need and the possibility arises for me to have ALL of my passions manifest.

And I had to stray from the pack by including a 6th passion, which interestingly, being a part of a globally respected network of enlightened business leaders has been a longly held vision of mine.  It keeps coming back again and again, but without any real feelings of immediacy or urgency to do anything about it.  I’m realizing that it is a longer term picture that will unfold in its own time, and likely, in very unexpected ways.

I’m seeing that the key is to follow my passions as they exist today.  Right now. And to be willing to re-inquire within about anything that seems to be shifting in my passions.  Dan explained that it’s a good idea to do the Passion Test every 4-6 moths, as over time, our passions to shift so some degree.

So… now that I’ve set my INTENTIONS, or passions, I am moving along into the step of ATTENTION.

For raising my attention to these intentions, Dan recommended that I write the complete list of my intentions on several index cards, which I can place strategically around the house… my bathroom mirror, my desk, on my computer, on the refrigerator, in my wallet, etc…

And in two weeks, I’ll have another session with Dan, where he will help me identify “Markers” (sort of like goals) that go along with each of my passions.

And also on our follow up call, doing what he “The Blockbuster” does best, Dan will help me clear away any resistance I have about my new intentions.  This will further lead to ‘step 3 – NO TENSION.’

As I write out my passions today on my index cards and place them strategically about my home and environment, I thought I’d invite you to come along for the ride!  I’d love to hear your Passion List, or anything else you’d like to share out of this conversation.  Just click “reply” below! 🙂

If you would like to take the Passion Test with Dan, I encourage you to reach out to him today at dan@blockbustyourpath.com.

Tending To Self-Worth An Unexpected Place… My Closet!

February 16, 2010

Oh what a delight it is to be with you at this moment. Thank you for stopping by to connect.  It means the world to me.

Did you come to the call with Sue Rasmussen last week? We discussed the connection between CLUTTER and SUCCESS.  If you didn’t make the call, don’t worry, Sue recorded it for you here… www.unclutter-organize-transform.com/teleclass-coco.html

As a result of the call, I decided to commit to yet another year of un-cluttering.  I joined Sue’s Streamline Your Success Program(Yay for me!!) For the next 12 months, I’ll be continuing my quest to clear away everything that keeps me from being the highest and most joyful expression of me.

I wanted to blog today because I am bubbling over with excitement!  I  am starting my 12-month journey with Sue today.  And this month is dedicated to “Clearing Your Closet.” But it’s SO much more fun than it sounds.  Today is our first call (in a series of 4 1-hour calls) this month, and I just reviewed the preparation materials Sue sent out.  I am OVER THE MOON excited about them.

From the preparation forms Sue sent, here’s what seems to be on the agenda today…

  1. What are my style ruts?
  2. What are the home items I love?
  3. What clothes do I love?
  4. What images do I love?
  5. What details do I love?
  6. What are my favorite “Style Words”?

This is SO much better than just cleaning my closet!!

And if I know Sue, there’s a lot more to these questions than meet the eye.  I can’t wait to see what I will discover within myself through today’s call.

I am so excited to delve into this aspect of my life. I personally love to dress and feel good.  I find that how I dress — as an extension of how I care for myself — is a powerful form of self-expression, as well as self-love.  I was just writing in my journal yesterday how important “dressing for the role” I am choosing to live, really is.  In my case, I’ve recently decided to dress, act, and behave like a woman who thoroughly enjoys being who she is.  I have literally set the intention that when I go out into the world, how I present myself will literally inspire people to have that thought… “Now there goes a woman in love with life.”

It’s less about other people perceiving me this way, and more about me perceiving myself this way.  And the truth is, I do love life, and in particular, MY life.  I’ve got it made in so many ways I can hardly take it all in. And yet, I find myself, even after YEARS of inner work, it’s still easy to lose sight of all the gratitude I feel when I’m aware, awake, and conscious.

And that’s why dressing like a woman in love with her life is key!

Dressing like this woman reminds me to BE this woman.

If you’ve read my blog before, you know that tending to my self-worth is a key area of my own personal journey. Self-worthiness indeed starts as an inside job.  But the physical world becomes the playground in which demonstrating the experience of self-worth can happen.  And how we care for our physical bodies, groom ourselves, and clothe ourselves has everything to do with our inner experience of self-worth.

Soooo….. today with Sue, as we cover the FUN, DELIGHTFUL, and JOYFUL subject of dressing and style…. I will know that what I’m really doing is tending to and cultivating self-worth.

I will be creating a new entry-way into the experience of being a woman who LOVES her life.

This makes me want to dance! Hey, maybe I will!  Because picking adornments for my body to wear is such a fun and unexpected way to creep into the sometimes serious and often heavy corridors of self-worth.

Anyway, thought I’d pass the thought along.  Perhaps you too could invest an extra30 minutes today to considering the way you dress (or adorn, as I like to call it) yourself.  Allow it to be a fun, delightful experience that brings about a conscious experience of self-worth and self-love.

And if you want to join the call with Sue and me today, feel free to come sign up for the call!

Over the last seven days, leading up to today’s call, we have be right here on my blog giving you daily un-clutter tips to help you reclaim energy, power, and clarity.

WARNING: Some of these tips might seem trivial, even superficial, but don’t be fooled.  Deep beneath these simple, and very doable exercises lies the potential for incredible transformation.  Just because it doesn’t seem deep, doesn’t mean that it is.  Trust me.

Here is our FINAL un-cluttering tip from Sue Rasmussen

‘Tis the season…for dry, chapped, cracked skin! (Yes, even here in beautiful Arizona!)

And I bet you have a bunch of different bottles and jars and tubes of lotion in your bathroom right now. Some of them were part of gift baskets you received, some were bottles you picked up on vacation, some have been in there so long you don’t even remember when you got them.

Some have fragrance, some don’t. Some are for your feet. Some are for your hands. Others are for using in the shower.

Just how many are in there, anyway?

In fact, why don’t you go and take a quick peek?

Seriously. Go check and see how many different kinds of lotions you have right now.

I’ll wait. 🙂

So how many different kinds of lotion did you find?
How many are you actually using? Do you LIKE all of them?

If you’re like most people, you probably were surprised at how many different lotions you found. And I bet you don’t even like or use most of them.

All of those bottles and jars that are taking up room in your bathroom – most of that stuff is clutter.

Even if they were expensive.

Even if they were a gift.

If you’re not using them regularly (and especially if you don’t like them), they are just taking up room in your bathroom and your life.

Imagine if you had one kind of lotion that you really loved. That you used over and over again. One that worked on your hands and your feet and your body (OK, you can have a separate one for your face…I must confess, I do have a separate lotion for my face, because I have really sensitive skin!)

And imagine getting rid of all the rest. Maybe you give it to the neighbor teenager who loves any products she can get her hands on (better in her cupboard than yours). Maybe, if they’re unopened, they can go to a nearby charity that accepts products. Maybe they go in the trash (that’s perfectly fine, too).

Imagine that!

Enjoy your new, spacious, airy bathroom when you’re done (maybe with a lovely glass of wine and a bubble bath).

P.S. In fact, I have found a lotion that I love, called Udderly Smooth. It was initially developed as an udder cream (yes, I guess those cows like to have nice, soft, smooth udders), and then some dairy farmer realized that it was great for humans, too. 🙂 You can find it at most local pharmacies or drug stores, or at uddercream dot com.

And I love the packaging…too cute. Seriously, the stuff works great!

Here is today’s un-cluttering tip from Sue Rasmussen

Be yourself.

It sounds so incredibly simple, yet how many of us have truly learned to be ourselves?

One of my very favorite books, “Simplify Your Life” by Elaine St. James, asks this question:

“Have you ever stopped to think about how much energy

you spend – and how much you complicate your life – by

pretending to be someone other than who you are?”

What if the only person you had to impress was yourself?

Would you continue to:

  • drive the same car?
  • live in the same home?
  • stay in the same job or line of work?
  • wear the same clothes?
  • surround yourself with the same stuff?
  • take the same vacations?
  • be married to the same person?
  • belong to the same church or temple or synagogue?
  • belong to the same club?
  • say ‘yes’ to things you really wanted to say ‘no’ to?
  • have the same conversations?
  • spend time with the same people?

Several years ago, when I took a good look at how I was living my life (even though, by all outward appearances, I had a good life), I realized that much of what I had, much of what I did, and much of how I acted were based on other people’s expectations.

Actually, it was even worse than that – it was based on what I thought other people might be expecting of me!

Step-by-step, I started creating a life based on how I truly wanted to live.

Some steps were fairly easy… like letting go of activities that no longer interested me, clearing out lots of clutter, and simplifying my life.

Some of the steps were not so easy… leaving certain relationships that were not supporting me, moving to a new city, completely changing my career and starting a new business, and creating a new community of friends.

However, every single step was well worth it!

As you look at your own life, you may have some tweaking to do as well; in fact, sometimes a major overhaul is in order!

Awareness is the first step…so become very aware of the choices you are making and how they are making you feel.

And above all, be fully, gloriously, 100% yourself – it is the greatest gift you can give to yourself and to the world around you.

Day 3… Take ONE Minute, and Clear Off Your Desk

Here is today’s un-cluttering tip from Sue Rasmussen

It’s the start of a new year. Wow, a new decade, for that matter!

And in your business or your work, when you are surrounded by piles of paper, stacks of projects, and clippings you keep meaning to read, you are keeping yourself stuck in the past (and we might be talking about WAAAAY in the past, depending on what’s in those piles).

Your energy is tied up with all of those papers, and all of those to-do’s, and all of those tasks that keep you from moving forward.

You are also not making breathing room for new ideas, new clients, or new opportunities to show up.

Plus, it’s stressful to sit at a desk that is piled high, isn’t it?

And for those of you who claim, “but I’m more creative when I’m surrounded by lots of stuff – it gets my mind moving…”, well, I’m here to burst that bubble right now.

When you have a clear desk or work area, you have a clear mind. Which means there is space in there for creativity to happen.

Your energy is attached to all of those things on your desk.

Imagine, if you will, little tiny strings of energy flowing from you to everything around you…especially those things that give you a little ‘ugh’ feeling every time you see them.

As you clear up all that stuff, those little strings of energy come back where they belong…to YOU.

So right now, take ONE minute and see what you can clear off your desk.

Is there anything you can throw away immediately? (That’s my favorite way of clearing clutter!)

How about any stuff you could file quickly?

Or anything you could handle right now?

…like the survey I got today from my car insurance agency that took 30 seconds to complete (and now it’s off my desk and off my mind rather than sitting in a pile of mail for a month)…

One minute to more energy, more clarity, more opportunity, and more room on your desk.

Don’t you just love things that are that SIMPLE?

Here is today’s un-cluttering tip from Sue Rasmussen

It’s easy to think that clutter isn’t that big of a deal.

It’s just stuff, right?

Nope.

Your clutter is NOT about your stuff.

The stuff is just an external representation of what’s going on inside of you.

When you have things in your environment (whether it’s junk in your garage or activities on your calendar or any other level of clutter) that are no longer doing you any good, something is stuck.

As Karen Kingston so eloquently points out in her book “Clear Your Clutter with Feng Shui,” the word clutter is derived from the word coagulate.

Let’s dig a bit further, shall we?  🙂

Here are a couple of dictionary definitions of ‘coagulate:’

  • to change from a fluid into a thickened mass
  • curdle; congeal
  • clot, set
  • solidify, thicken

Lovely, isn’t it?

None of that sounds like being in the flow or opening to abundance or allowing for creativity to me.

Clutter is about being stuck. Being stuck in the past. Stuck with old ideas. Outdated things. Stuff that no longer fits.

Things that serve your life NOW have a delight to them, a flow, an easy quality. A lightness.

Imagine everything in your life, in every area, having that light, airy, abundant feel.

And how much easier it would be to do the things that truly ARE important to you.

And what a difference it would make in your work, in your business, in your relationships, in your entire life.

Makes you kinda feel like you could fly, doesn’t it?
